A stone farmhouse with wonderful outdoor areas and ideal for large groups

Villa del Vino is a beautifully converted farmhouse located on the outskirts of Buseto Palizzolo, a quaint rural hill town. With spectacular views over the neighbouring vineyards and across the surrounding countryside, del Vino is ideal for groups of friends or extended families wanting an authentic Sicilian getaway.

Inside, the villa has been tastefully decorated in a charming Mediterranean style with local stone, exposed wooden beams and rich terracotta colours as well as many elegant furnishings. Set over two floors, there is ample space for larger parties with a spacious living room with fireplace, second sitting room and five double bedrooms with a further three bedrooms (at an extra cost) for groups of up to 14. The small, traditional kitchen is well equipped for holiday living and opens onto a large dining room, ideal for leisurely dinners. To try some taster menus with local wines, why not hire a private chef?

Outside, the beautiful countryside views can be enjoyed from the inviting swimming pool with Jacuzzi area and the large cobbled terrace which wraps around the villa. With many seating areas and ample shade and sun throughout the day, you are sure to while away the hours here, a book in hand.

For those who can tear themselves away from the pool, the local area is rich in places of interest just waiting to be discovered. Why not visit the impressive mountaintop medieval town of Erice with stunning views over Trapani or visit one of the many vineyards and sample the local Marsala?
